Vitamin deficiencies causing MCAS symptoms?
I've attached some results I had from World Health Labs last year done by a Functional Medicine Doctor.
No idea what would cause all these deficiencies and some are likely worse now as I haven't treated them due to side effects from supplements.
Can deficiencies like these cause MCAS symptoms? I've felt ill for 5 years (since the birth of my second child), but covid hit me hard resulting in dysautonomia symptoms in late 2021 and I've had it twice more in Dec 2022 and July 2023.
Recently I've been getting symptoms like a runny nose/sore throat after eating. My ears feel like they're burning (but don't turn red), along with usual other symptoms like some mild tachycardia, body aches, flu feeling, brain fog, headaches, feeling faint/weak, internal vibrations, pins and needles, neuropathy sensations, tremors, pvcs, adrenaline rushes, nausea...probably more I am forgetting, but everything comes and goes.
Does this sound like MCAS? I don't get any rahses and haven't linked it to any particular foods.
I don't want to end up even worse than I feel. I am a teacher, married with 2 young children and plod along every day but I'm exhausted.
No autoimmune disease No hypermobility/EDS No history of M.E/CFS
I was always healthy before this and miss my old life!
Should add that my current Ferritin level is also 7.
